Sharing a ride to work? Use the ride sharing app
- Free, easy-to-use trip scheduling tool
- Share a ride with colleagues or other employees at Aviation Valley
- Keep your commuting allowance and split fuel costs
Carpooling pays off
Do you currently commute alone? Then you're paying all the costs alone too. By sharing a ride, you split the fuel costs. That can save a lot of money — especially if you drive in every day. And the best part: there are no strings attached. You carpool whenever it suits you.
- Lower costs per trip
- Fewer cars on the road
- Lower emissions
- Travelling together is more fun
That makes carpooling a smart and flexible choice.
How does it work?
If your company participates in ReisFlex, you can carpool via the Slinger app. Not sure? Check with your HR department. If you do participate, here's how it works:
- Log in via the Slinger app (download the app via the Slinger website)
- Find colleagues or employees nearby
- Arrange a trip together
- Split the costs between you
You choose when you share a ride. Everything is voluntary.
What does this mean for your commuting allowance?
If your employer participates in ReisFlex and you receive a mileage allowance, this will often still apply — even when you carpool. You agree among yourselves how to split the fuel costs. By sharing costs while still receiving your allowance, you end up with more in your pocket than when travelling alone. Check with your employer whether this applies to you.
Give it a try.
Even one day a week is enough to notice the difference. You share the costs — and the latest gossip along the way.
